This paper challenges traditional anti-corruption interventions and makes a radical claim that corruption is a human soul problem. Using Judeo -Christian philosophy as the main underpinning, the author asserts that global anti- corruption campaigns and crusades are bound to fail- a self-fulfilling prophecy-due to their failure to affect, influence and transform the real antecedent of external acts of corruption which is that corrupt, evil, and mischievous human soul dwelling in each humankind.
